TMRW Sports, a company backed by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, has announced a new investment in the AI-powered scheduling platform Fastbreak.ai as it prepares for the debut season of its high-tech TGL golf league in January. This strategic partnership will see Fastbreak.ai’s intelligent scheduling technology deployed not only in TGL but also in other events organized by TMRW Sports, as the company seeks to enhance fan engagement and operational efficiency.
The addition of TMRW Sports as an investor aligns the company with prominent backers of Fastbreak.ai, which include the National Basketball Association (NBA), the National Hockey League (NHL), and former NFL wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald. TMRW Sports’ TGL concept is built around technological innovation, aiming to attract a new generation of golf fans with short-form, team-based competitions that unfold in a single, tech-driven arena.
The custom-built TGL venue in Florida will feature a virtual golf course, a short game complex, advanced simulator technology, giant digital screens, and motorized greens for an immersive spectator experience.
This investment in Fastbreak.ai marks a move by TMRW to expand its digital capabilities and streamline its event operations. The AI platform, which secured $5.2 million in seed funding last year, brings a robust scheduling solution designed to meet the demands of fast-paced sports leagues.
“At TMRW Sports, we’re committed to innovation and using best-in-class technologies to move our business forward,” said Joey Brander, TMRW Sports’ vice president for corporate development. “Partnering with Fastbreak.ai reflects that commitment, and we’re pleased to join forces with top leagues like the NBA and NHL to bring value to this platform.”
Fastbreak.ai’s CEO, John Stewart, shared his enthusiasm for the collaboration, noting, “We’re thrilled to bring our cutting-edge scheduling technology to TGL, one of the most exciting new leagues in sports. This partnership highlights our platform’s versatility and its ability to deliver tailored solutions for leagues of all sizes.”
TGL’s debut event is set for January 7 in Florida and will be broadcast on ESPN, signaling the launch of a bold, tech-enhanced approach to professional golf.
