In a joint effort between TitletownTech and Microsoft, Milwaukee is set to witness an expansion of technological innovation. This development stems from an announcement made on Wednesday by President Joe Biden and Microsoft Vice Chair and President Brad Smith. They revealed plans for a manufacturing-focused AI co-innovation lab, with an investment of $3.3 billion, to be situated at the former Foxconn site in Racine County.
TitletownTech, in partnership with Microsoft and the Green Bay Packers, will establish a permanent presence named TitletownTech-Milwaukee within the AI Co-Innovation Lab at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee campus. This strategic move ensures close collaboration with the new Microsoft lab and fosters opportunities and engagement throughout the state.
Craig Dickman, the managing director of TitletownTech, emphasised the lab's focus on practical solutions for manufacturers and the wider marketplace. He highlighted the potential for companies to develop groundbreaking innovations that could enhance competitiveness and elevate the global standing of the Wisconsin economy.
Mark Murphy, president of the Packers, underscored the significance of the initiative, noting its rarity on a global scale, with only seven similar labs worldwide and this being the third in the United States.
