TGL Secures Middle East and North Africa Broadcast Deal with Evision

TGL, the new technology-driven team golf league founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy's TMRW Sports, has finalised a major broadcasting deal with Evision to bring the league to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The agreement grants GolfLife, Evision’s dedicated golf channel, exclusive rights to air TGL matches across all MENA markets.

The partnership represents a key step in TGL’s international expansion strategy as it looks to attract new audiences beyond its core U.S. market. Evision has already built a strong reputation for broadcasting the PGA Tour and the DP World Tour, and adding TGL to its lineup further strengthens its golf offering.

TGL's innovative format, which blends traditional golf with advanced virtual technology, is designed to create a fast-paced, entertainment-driven experience. The league’s matches, played in a stadium setting with immersive digital elements, will be aired in prime time across the Middle East, making it accessible to viewers in the region.

Golf’s popularity in the Middle East has been growing steadily, with countries such as the UAE and Saudi Arabia investing in major tournaments and grassroots development. The Arab Golf Series, launched to develop talent and expand professional golf opportunities in the region, has further cemented the Middle East’s status as an emerging golf hub. With established events like the Saudi International and the DP World Tour Championship already drawing top players, initiatives such as the Arab Golf Series are helping to foster local talent and increase regional participation in the sport. By securing a presence in this market, TGL has an opportunity to engage younger fans and expand the sport’s appeal beyond its traditional audience.

For Evision, the deal helps strengthen its position as a key player in sports broadcasting within the region. With TGL’s debut season set to begin later this year, the success of this partnership will likely shape future expansion plans for the league. If TGL gains traction in the MENA region, it could lead to further local investment in the sport, potentially opening the door for exhibition events or even team franchises based in the Middle East.
