LaLiga Partners with Sportsbet.io to Boost Fan Engagement with Crypto Rewards

LaLiga, Spain’s premier football league, has announced a new partnership with Sportsbet.io, an online sports betting platform, aimed at enhancing fan engagement through digital activations and cryptocurrency rewards. The collaboration will integrate Sportsbet.io’s crypto-based betting platform with LaLiga’s global fanbase, covering both the top-tier LaLiga and the second division, Segunda División.
Jorge de la Vega, LaLiga’s business general manager, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, "We are thrilled to collaborate with Sportsbet.io, a brand that shares our vision of pushing the boundaries of fan engagement and innovation within sports.
Together, we aim to create dynamic experiences for our fans and offer fresh ways to engage with LaLiga." He also highlighted the importance of this deal in LaLiga’s strategy to expand its global reach.
Founded in 2016 as part of the Yolo Group, Sportsbet.io has made significant strides in the soccer world, previously sponsoring Brazilian club São Paulo and English clubs Southampton and Watford. The company is currently the shirt sponsor for English second-tier side Hull City.
This partnership with Sportsbet.io is LaLiga’s second major commercial deal in October, following the announcement of a three-season agreement with Riyadh Season, a brand focused on sports, culture, and entertainment. The new deal is seen as part of LaLiga’s ongoing efforts to connect with international audiences and stay at the forefront of fan interaction and innovation.
