Genius Sports Partners with Deep Blue and Precise to Launch AI-Powered Women’s Sports Monetisation Platform

Genius Sports has announced a new strategic partnership with audience data specialists Deep Blue and insight agency Precise to launch a dedicated audience intelligence and monetisation service for women’s sports. The new solution will be integrated into Genius Sports’ FanHub platform and is designed to support rights holders, brands, and federations in unlocking the commercial potential of women’s sport through AI-powered analytics and targeted engagement.

The collaboration combines Genius Sports’ digital fan engagement infrastructure with Deep Blue’s audience intelligence capabilities and Precise’s insights expertise. The resulting service aims to bridge a longstanding gap in the sports ecosystem by providing data-driven marketing tools specifically tailored to the fast-growing but under-commercialised women’s sports sector.

The initiative will provide stakeholders with access to real-time fan data, audience segmentation, predictive analytics, and media performance benchmarking—tools that have traditionally been limited to top-tier men’s sports. Critically, the platform also integrates with first-party data, enabling sports properties and brands to run compliant, personalised marketing and monetisation strategies at scale.

“Women’s sports are attracting record-breaking audiences, but the infrastructure to understand and commercialise those fans hasn’t kept pace,” said Genius Sports CEO Mark Locke in a statement. “Through this partnership, we’re delivering the tools and intelligence needed to accelerate sustainable growth.”

The launch comes at a pivotal time for women’s sport, which has seen a surge in global attention—from World Cup viewing figures to record attendances in domestic leagues. However, the lack of robust audience data has often limited commercial investment. The new platform aims to change that by making it easier for rights holders and sponsors to identify, understand, and engage female sports audiences through precise, measurable campaigns.

From a commercial perspective, the move enhances Genius Sports’ value proposition by deepening its offer in a rapidly expanding vertical. It also positions Deep Blue and Precise at the centre of a high-growth market with increasing demand for accountable, data-rich sponsorship strategies.

The service will first be rolled out with two major women’s sports properties, to be announced later this year, with full commercial availability expected in the second half of 2025.

As media rights fragment and fan data becomes central to sports monetisation, collaborations like this are increasingly seen as critical infrastructure. The Genius Sports–Deep Blue–Precise partnership offers a blueprint for how data partnerships can unlock new revenue in underserved segments, and signals a broader industry shift towards equitable and tech-enabled growth in women’s sport.
