Dizplai Makes Strategic Move into iGaming with PickGuru Acquisition



Dizplai has announced the full acquisition of social gaming platform PickGuru, marking the launch of a new division, Dizplai Gaming. This strategic move aims to enhance Dizplai’s end-to-end offerings and provide fans with enriched experiences across both primary and secondary screens.


Ed Abis, CEO of Dizplai, emphasized the value of interactive content: “We fundamentally believe that when audiences are compelled, through a gamified approach, to interact, it makes content more engaging, more commercially valuable, and enables it to grow and, ultimately, retain audiences. The acquisition of PickGuru as a business, and the team of people who will join Dizplai, will enable us to supercharge that approach, offering a whole different level of services to our clients, thus driving our overarching strategy.”


PickGuru specializes in creating smart solutions that meet the audience and commercial objectives for multi-channel bookmakers, publishers, and rights holders. The platform allows partners to swiftly and effortlessly create predictor and fantasy games, fostering deeper engagement and new monetization opportunities.

Their platform has enhanced live broadcasts for entities such as Sky Sports, TNT Sports, Manchester City, Liverpool FC, SuperTri, William Hill, and The United Stand.


In November 2023, Dizplai partnered with William Hill to target the bookmaker’s streaming offerings. This deal aimed to enhance the retail William Hill TV and online Betting TV platforms using Dizplai’s real-time scores, updates, and betting odds services.
