Conor McGregor Unveils Investment in Thriving Combat Sports Franchise

Conor McGregor, the former UFC champion, made waves on Saturday night with a significant announcement. Revealing his latest venture, McGregor disclosed that he has acquired a stake in the BKFC bare-knuckle boxing franchise.

This move underscores McGregor's expanding portfolio of business interests beyond the realm of UFC, which already includes ownership of a whiskey brand, a pub, and various other ventures, including a recent involvement in the Road House remake.

While speculation surrounded his return to the octagon, McGregor recently confirmed his comeback to the sport where he gained fame, set to face Michael Chandler at UFC 303. This match marks his first appearance since his defeat to Dustin Poirier in 2021.

However, it was before the BKFC KnuckleMania 4 co-main event on Saturday that McGregor dropped the bombshell. Addressing the audience, he declared, "'The Notorious' Conor McGregor here. Ladies and gentlemen, the huge announcement that I have for you today, Conor McGregor myself, and McGregor Sports and Entertainment is now an owner of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championships. Welcome to the big leagues. David Feldman, baby, we did it."

David Feldman, BKFC president, expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating, "I think it's just going to move the needle tremendously. We're going to do a lot of big things. We're going to open up a lot of new markets."
