The Australian Open has launched AO Adventure, a new immersive digital game on the Roblox platform, to engage fans around this year’s edition of the tennis grand slam.
The game enables users to explore the world of the event by completing activities and earning prizes. Players will arrive at a virtual recreation of Rod Laver Arena, where they are greeted by an avatar of Nick Kyrgios, who has teamed up with the Australian Open on the project.
AO Adventure will also feature a digitised AO Ballpark presented by Emirates, which will see users welcomed to the space by an Emirates cabin crew humanoid. Other features will include a store where players can find exclusive wearable items for their Roblox avatars.
